Kadence is a Jersey-born musician currently based out of Virginia Beach, VA. A natural musician from an early age, they grew up as a percussionist throughout school before enlisting in the Navy in 2015. After military service, they made a hard return into music in 2023, becoming a multi-instrumentalist learning guitar, bass, harmonica, and vocals (both clean and screaming). Their original music leans towards the genres of Alternative Folk, Indie Singer-Songwriter and Experimental Rock.

In August 2024, after a plethora of singles and EPs, Kadence released their first major album Dear Friends & Family, which was praised by fans for it’s raw tone, deep story-telling, and blend of tracks under different genres. Using their new-found success, they would begin performing professionally all across the 757.

From busking to bar gigs, from intimate showcases to full-staged original shows, Kadence continued to break-free from the norm, pulling inspiration from every genre possible to recreate their own unique sound. They are notably known for playing solo with a looper pedal, allowing them to bring a full-band sound with drum tracks, backing tracks, sound effects, and many weird and crazy vibes anywhere they go.

In late 2025, Kadence released their double-album Soar Beyond (August 2025) and Farther Than You Know (November 2025), another concept album that took their discography another step further, showing off hidden talents they have learned in their last few years doing music, with a continuation to the story they are telling.
